The BioGENEius Challenge
This is one of the most established science competition open to high school students to showcase innovative and original science research projects in Biotechnology.
Who can apply?
High School students (Grades 9 – 12) enrolled in biotechnology, biology, or life science related courses in any public, private or home school within the USA. Visit / to apply online for the BioGENEius 2018 PA State Championship competition latest by April 20 2018. If selected for Pennsylvania BioGENEius 2018 Challenge. Selected projects would be notified via email by April 22, 2018. The Pennsylvania BioGENEius Challenge will take place on April 30 2018 at Harrisburg University.
How do I apply?
Please visit www.biotechinstitute.org to apply to the BioGENEius 2018 competition. You must participate in the statewide Pennsylvania Science and Engineering Fairs to progress to the statewide event.
What do I win?
If you are selected as a winner of a BioGENEius competition you will be eligible to attend both the U.S. National BioGENEius Challenge and the BIO International Convention in Boston, MA, June 3-6, 2018. You will have a chance to compete for cash prizes totaling $20,000.
