Overview

The Colorado BioGENEius Challenge is a competition for junior-senior high school students who are doing outstanding research in biotechnology.

Entering the BioGENEius Challenge:

  1. Complete an application for the Colorado BioGENEius Challenge. Please complete the online application by TBD
  2. You must be a qualified participant in the statewide Colorado Science and Engineering Fair (CSEF www.csef.colostate.edu), dates TBD at the Lory Student Center in Fort Collins, CO. CSEF participants are invited from first and some second place winners of regional Colorado science fairs.  CSEF participants may then enter the BioGENEius Challenge by registering with the Biotechnology Institute’s online application.  

Information about CSEF and entry forms for the CSEF competition:  www.csef.colostate.edu .  Winners of the local challenge will be judged and selected during the special awards judging at this event and notified at the Awards ceremony on Saturday April 11th

If selected, you must be available to attend the International BioGENEius Challenge in San Diego, CA on June 18-21, 2017. A travel stipend will be provided to the winner and (1) chaperone.
