Overview

The Colorado BioGENEius Challenge is a competition for junior-senior high school students who are doing outstanding research in biotechnology.

Entering the BioGENEius Challenge:

You must be a qualified participant in the statewide Colorado Science and Engineering Fair (CSEF) www.csef.colostate.edu.   Judging for BioGENEius will take place during the Special Judging portion of the program on April 5 at the Lory Student Center in Fort Collins, CO. The selected BioGENEius winner will be announced during the Awards Ceremony on Saturday, April 7. 

How do I participate in the Colorado Science and Engineering Fair?
CSEF participants are invited from first place winners of regional Colorado science fairs. Information about CSEF and entry forms for the CSEF competition:  www.csef.colostate.edu  

How can I be considered for BioGENEius?

If you are participating in CSEF, you can apply online for consideration by April 1, 2018 and will be added to the special judging roster.

If selected, you must be available to attend the International BioGENEius Challenge in Boston, MA
June 3-6, 2018. Travel, accommodations and a travel stipend will be provided to the winner and (1) chaperone.
